We can play an active role in identifying critical hires and recruiting to fill those needs. We work closely with leading search firms, and draw on our broad network to help surface the right talent. Network We make introductions at high levels with prospective business partners, as well as helping with referrals to required professional service providers, whether legal, financial or operational. Planning We provide assistance in tuning the business plan, development of the product or service, sales and marketing strategy, and other aspects of the new business. Board of Directors Typically, we are represented on the Board of Directors to provide active support to the management team. We assist our portfolio companies with strategic and policy decisions, as well as providing an outside perspective on factors that may influence the growth of the company. Funding We generally participate in follow-on rounds and assist in identifying co-investors in these rounds. We also help with additional financing needs by providing introductions to banks, leasing companies, and investment bankers. Physical Space For our EIR program and seed stage projects, short term incubation space and support may be needed. We can provide this at our offices if appropriate.
