

Kurt Riegger was North Coast's first Venture Partner, joining the company in early 2001.
He is a seasoned business leader with 20 years of experience managing
and growing high tech companies. He has co-founded and sold two software
companies: SSG acquired by AppNet and WorkWell acquired by Liberty
Mutual Insurance Group.
Kurt holds a dual BS in Mathematics and Molecular Biology with distinction
from the University of Michigan and has completed Masters work in
Computer Engineering.

Mina Patel Sooch was North Coast's second Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
She joined the EIR program in 2001 to actively pursue Life Sciences
opportunities, bringing with her over a decade of pharmaceutical, biotech,
and healthcare
experiences as an entrepreneur, strategy & finance advisor, and
chemical engineer. Mina is currently a partner at Apjohn Ventures Fund,
and has
taken an executive operating role at Afmedica, a drug coated device
company.
Mina received a MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993. She graduated
summa cum laude from Wayne State University in 1989 with a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering and was awarded the Donnelly Award.

Dawn R. White was North Coast's first Entrepreneur-in-Residence. As an
EIR, Dawn worked closely with North Coast, developing a breakthrough
technology in rapid prototyping (RP) and rapid tooling (RT). Dawn launched
Solidica, Inc. in late 1999, to focus on the research and development
of this new technology.
Prior to joining North Coast, Dawn was a team leader at Ford in the
development of rapid, low investment tooling at Ford Research Laboratory.
During
Dawn's tenure, Ford became the world's technology leader in spray
formed rapid tooling. She also actively worked with Ford Corporate
Business
Development on potential acquisitions in the rapid tooling sector.
During this time, Dawn also developed an extensive background in
automotive
joining and rapid prototyping technology, and cross industry initiatives
in these areas.
Dr. White has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, and a B.S. and
M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
She
is the holder of seven U.S. Patents.
